Vienna pearl of Europe

City of Sachertorte, the waltz and the magnificent baroque buildings, is a mix of history, tradition and modern hospitality. From architecture to music, everything from art to gastronomy tells us of a glorious past and a timeless charm.
Vienna is known for its beautiful castles, among which the Belvedere and Schönbrunn. Regarded as the Austric version of Versailles, Schönbrunn was the summer residence of Empress Sissi. This baroque castle boasts a good reputation. Was there, in the hall of mirrors, where performed the musical genius Mozart at the age of 6 years.
For centuries, Vienna has hosted high-profile artists and thinkers in many fields, from literature to painting through the music: Egon Schiele, Konrad Lorenz, Musil, Mahler, Klimt and the father of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud, and Strauss, all names who brought fame to a city became an important center of European cultural.
It should also be noted the extreme importance of the Prater ferris wheel. Immortalized in thousands of images from postcards to posters, has become the symbol of fun and leisure attractions of the Habsburgs. Pagan counterpart to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the largest Ferris wheel is always a favorite of visitors to Vienna, no matter whether the first or the umpteenth time. A wheel from a height of 64.75 meters provides a breathtaking view over the city.
Its beauty, the ubiquitous green parks and gardens, the timeless charm, air quality has earned the Austrian capital's prestigious recognition of being one of the highest life-quality cities among the ones in Europe.
